What if your purpose were to be to find joy and happiness?
"Joy may feel unattainable, but remember, you can start by aiming to feel better from where you are."
Was there something today that brought you joy/made you laugh/got your creative juices going? If not, take a look at this list for some ideas of things you may want to try in the future.
Beautiful soul, amazing human, I see this picture [sing] I always feel like somebody's watching me. [giggles] That's what comes to mind. I guess I'm a little punchy because I've made a lot of these videos today. [giggles] The importance of finding joy in your life cannot be stressed enough. I know it feels uncomfortable for most of us. Hopefully, if you've done this challenge up to now, you're starting to get a little more comfortable with the idea that you can find joy in your life; that you can be kind to yourself; that you are worthy of all of this. This video is a little different from the four things of joy that were earlier, that is a resource that you can use to walk through moments that you need a reset, or where you want to improve your mood a little bit. This is actually following your joy: those little promptings that you have to, you know, maybe take a five minute walk, I know, that's always where I go, it's what I'd like to do. But it might be eat the popsicle that you have in your freezer, because it just sounds really yummy right now, and you'll talk yourself out of it. But maybe that's the joy you need in this moment. Maybe it is a walk, maybe it's watching a television show. And giving yourself that break that you need. So whatever the promptings are, begin to notice them, which you should be clearing out some things in your thoughts, Your Protector is starting to do their job. And now you might be able to feel these joyous promptings and follow a few. The video is pretty straightforward. Enjoy it, check out the journal prompts. And that's it. Have an amazing day. 02:22 Today's topic is following your joy. So you've been following along in this challenging and you know that joy is a recurring theme. I get it though, if joy feels too unattainable for you right now. And in that case, we're going to take steps rather than a leap. Imagine though, if you could experience joy or feeling better more often. Consider, "What if your purpose is to find joy and happiness?" What if you take a real close look at your life and see what things are bringing you joy? If you have a prompting this week that feels a little indulgent, but might bring you a little more joy, I encourage you to follow one or two of them and see what happens. This should be fun and allow you to learn how to trust your own inner guidance. Don't you dare forget that you are amazing!
